We have offices in London, Oxford, New York, Shanghai, Singapore, Mumbai, Durban and Sao Paulo and have a team of 180 highly engaged and dynamic research professionals that is multi-discipline in nature covering fields such as data sciences, marketing, insight, R&D, sensory science and psychology.

We are expanding our team and looking to recruit a Mid-level .NET Developer to join our team to assist in the design, development and maintenance of custom solutions that fulfil business and client needs. This is an exciting opportunity where you will have the chance to work on a variety of interesting new projects in a dynamic environment, whilst being well supported by a large and multi-disciplinary Data Sciences team.

We are ideally looking for candidates with 1-3 years’ software development experience. An IT related degree, A’Level or equivalent qualification (e.g. Computer Science, Software Development) is preferable but exceptions can be made for the right individual.

As a Software Developer, you will be highly motivated, dedicated and eager to progress, with a keen interest in programming and software design and a strong aptitude for logical thinking.

Requirements

Technical skills we are looking for across candidates:


  • Demonstrated knowledge of C#, .NET and basic SQL.
  • Object-oriented programming.
  • SOLID design principles.
  • Unit testing.
  • Familiar with the basics of ASP.NET Core web development.
  • Familiar with the basics of WPF and MVVM.
  • Familiar with version control best practices.
  • Basics of continuous integration.
  • Able to successfully gather requirements and compile user stories(issues)
  • Documenting work.
  • Ability to review code with tact.
