Research Director - London
Are you an experienced Market Research professional looking for an exciting new challenge within a senior role in FMCG market research?
We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic senior researcher to join our dedicated team as a Research Director.
This role, reporting into our Director, Head of London Business, and will be based in our central London (Blackfriars) office.
This role will be varied but some key elements include:
Managing Client Accounts:
o You will have ultimate responsibility for the quality of service provided and business developed on a number of MMR’s key FMCG client accounts
o You will be responsible for the provision of internal consultancy and sign off (as appropriate) on research design, proposal and debrief content.
o You will be the senior presence (gravitas) at key client interface situations (important client presentations, debriefs, account roster reviews etc.) and add value to the client experience in both New Product Development and research by providing advice, consultancy and a high level of interpretation and direction, where appropriate.
o You will be responsible for identification of business risk and development opportunities within accounts, and for the implementation of appropriate solutions.
o You’ll be taking the lead with the promotion of all MMR proprietary methodologies to potential customers when appropriate.
o You will also be responsible for the delivery of an agreed value of business in line with overhead recovery and net profitability targets.
New Client Development:
o The generation of New Business through warm leads generated by MMR and from other personal contacts within the assigned client accounts
o The generation of warm leads through promoting awareness of MMR among potential clients and contacts.
